Would
the Fellowship please reflect upon the strengths and weaknesses of
the Preamble for its use as an attractive description of AA as AA is
in UK society today at the beginning of the 21st century and then
conclude as to what action, if any, needs to be taken.
This
writer is neither implying nor expecting that Conference 2015 should
suggest a rewording of the Preamble but rather hopes that the
question will create an opportunity for the fellowship to take
inventory of an important piece of AA literature which is easy to
take for granted.
