Centre (ALC) was originally commissioned by the Department of Health
under the Alcohol Improvement Programme (April 2008 - March 2011) to
help reduce alcohol-related hospital admissions across the NHS. The
ALC transferred to Public Health England on 1 April 2013 and is now
part of Public Health England's alcohol learning resources”
