Alcohol research – Translational Centre for the Neurobehavioural Study for Alcohol

The Translational Center for the Neurobehavioural Study for Alcohol (TCNSA) is an NIH-funded program designed to provide an environment and infrastructure to leverage existing strengths in human, non-human primate, and rodent alcohol research to develop a translational alcohol research program at this institution.  The overarching research focus of the TCNSA is to investigate the neurobiological mechanisms that link environmental and behavioural factors like early life stress, impulsivity, and anxiety to an increased risk of alcohol abuse”
