can we improve the 12‐step
list, making sure it’s regularly updated? Ensuring that Telephone
Responders have current information so the telephone helpline
operates efficiently and effectively. Also, due to lack of Telephone
Liaison Officers and apathy of service, would Conference consider how
we can encourage the Fellowship to be more pro‐active
in the telephone service?
Background
When
Bill W made his first 12‐step call to Dr. Bob he had been given a
list of names to contact by telephone. This message should still be
carried today. Would Conference consider revising and looking at the
structure of the 12‐step
list and how it is monitored, throughout the telephone service.
