The above group (part of the Primary Purpose 'franchise' operating under the guise of an AA meeting) is busily organising its own convention entirely in accordance with their customary divisive policy effected through infiltration of AA. The official AA convention (Fenland) for the area takes place on August 22nd. This 'bastardised' cult version is scheduled for June.
Our correspondent reports that “needless to say, this is being organised by the local Primary Purpose group which has infested pretty well all aspects of local AA over the last few weeks. Further that the “Cambridge monday group is a pretty virulent Primary Purpose group, and has been pretty effective in undermining any conventional AA in this town. Again, recruitment of a few local Bleeding Deacons has been part of the process.”
Additionally they observe:
“another interesting technique which has been used locally is the "young peoples meeting" scam. Cambridge is a huge university/student town and there are many thousands of students in a variety of halls, colleges and institutions.
A "young peoples meeting" was set up, and it then advertised itself as such around all the local colleges, thus bypassing the phone service and normal channels. It has been pretty effective judging by the number of "young people" in the Primary Purpose meetings in this town.”
As usual the cult targets the most vulnerable!
