“Random Acts Of Human Kindness Create Good Karma.”
Such words are meaningless when they are not spoken from the heart, nor acted upon in selflessness. The energy from the content of your post and link therein communicates bad karma; a disturbance to Dharma. The Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts for World Service are principles of Dharma. They are not random expressions. They are principles of cause and effect to good karma. Their violation is not kindness. It is bad karma; suffering to others now or in future. What goes out comes around; in this life or the next. Beware of what message you carry.
Karma Definition: “Karma as action and reaction: if we show goodness, we will reap goodness. Karma is the universal principle of cause and effect. Our actions, both good and bad, come back to us in the future, helping us to learn from life’s lessons and become better people. In religions that include reincarnation, karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well. Karma is basically energy. One person throws out energy through thoughts, words and actions, and it comes back, in time, through other people. Karma is the best teacher, forcing people to face the consequences of their actions and thus improve and refine their behavior, or suffer if they do not. Even harsh karma, when faced in wisdom, can be the greatest spark for spiritual growth. The conquest of karma lies in intelligent action and unemotional response.” http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karma
What is Karma?: "The Pali term Karma literally means action or doing. Any kind of intentional action whether mental, verbal, or physical, is regarded as Karma. It covers all that is included in the phrase "thought, word and deed". Generally speaking, all good and bad action constitutes Karma. In its ultimate sense Karma means all moral and immoral volition.” http://buddhanet.net/e-learning/karma.htm
Dharma: "….is the Law that "upholds, supports or maintains the regulatory order of the universe". Dharma has the Sanskrit root -dhri, which means "that without which nothing can stand"[1] or "that which maintains the stability and harmony of the universe. [1]........ Dharma is not the same as religion, every entity in the cosmos has its particular dharma -- from the electron, which has the dharma to move in a certain manner, to the clouds, galaxies, plants, insects, and of course, man. Man's understanding of the dharma of inanimate things is what we now call physics.[1]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dharma
Dr. Bob: “Look at our 12 Points of A.A. Tradition. No random expressions these, based on just casual observation. On the contrary, they represent the sum of our experience as individuals, as groups within A.A. and similarly with our fellows and other organizations in the great fellowship of humanity under God throughout the world. They are entirely suggestive, yet the spirit in which they have been conceived merits their serious, prayerful consideration as the guidepost of A.A. policy for the individual, the group and our various committees, local and national.” – Dr. Bob (Extract, The Fundamentals - In Retrospect, AA Grapevine September 1948) http://da.aagrapevine.org/”
