A question for the AA conference question forum moderators?

Continuing with our conference question theme the animated discussion which took place on the forum (now much flooded with moderators' red ink) illustrates the problems of keeping a bunch of lively alcoholics in check. The discussion was by-and-large well informed and thorough albeit marred by a personal attack waged by Jan BB (Online Intergroup) on another contributor.

According to the forum guidelines:

In relation to these Forums the following types of posts are deemed a breach of the Forum Charter:-
Abusive
Offensive
Derogatory
Defamatory
Intimidating/Bullying
Personal
Argumentative/Sarcastic
Discriminaion [sic], including but not limited to, discriminatory behaviour on the grounds of disability, gender, race, religious belief (including non-belief), age, sexual orientation, nationalitly."

Well you've got to hand it to Jan. She managed to score 7 out of a possible 8 (or 8 out of 8 if you count paranoia as a disability!) placing her head and shoulders above the rest. For our part we think a bit of sarcasm adds spice to the debate but then we've always preferred a “straight pepper diet” (what was Bill thinking about when he wrote that!). One of the other contributors was even moved to complain to the General Service Board so tardy were the moderators in removing the offending sections (even now some still remain. Why?)
