Yep …..
The infamous aacultwatch blog has finally made it onto the AA conference questions forum. We hasten to add it was not our doing.
It would seem that a member (Jan BB) has taken great exception to our
activities (ie. our use of free speech) but exercised hers (Jan BB)
apparently without any great difficulty! Still we shouldn't complain
.. she (Jan BB) has probably more effectively advertised us – and
the Minority report 2013 (see above) - to the fellowship than anyone else
recently (including us) – so …. cheers (to Jan BB)!
We include a screen shot of this wonderful piece of advertising:

You'll note the numerous edits we have employed as she (Jan BB) ranted long and wide on the numerous deficiencies of another (named) member who had the temerity to state their argument on the forum (much to her discontent it would appear). Having lost the debate she (Jan BB) resorted to personal invective in a desperate attempt to bolster her own credibility (not a good move!) only to fizzle out with a whimper (hence the prolific use of red ink by the moderator). Our personal favourite though is the following extract:
“I would like to hear what actual conference delegates and members of AA think of this conference question, rather than the cut and paste of a [sic] obsessive, paranoid negative AA blogger with an ax to grind, who has tried every which way they can to control and sway GB GSO”.
We would be fascinated to discover what an “actual” member of AA looks like and what they might say! We can only assume that they would have to be created in the image of Jan BB and echo ONLY her sentiments precisely! Clearly though Jan BB has not done her “research” for if she had she would know that aacultwatch is run by a TEAM of people (who ALL happen to be AA members) each one of whom has their own voice but act collectively... A little bit like an AA group (but NOT an AA group). But we suspect that Jan BB might not be familiar with that particular concept. Still we're starting to feel a bit uncomfortable here! And why are you all looking at us? Go away!! (reaches for medication (prescribed) whilst tapping furiously - and obsessively - on the keyboard)
Cheerio
The Fellas (Friends of Alcoholics Anonymous)
PS Jan BB (it would seem) is involved with something called the Online Intergroup (a somewhat questionable entity with some strange notions concerning the traditions. Sound familiar?)
